Featured Green Innovators
Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with six groundbreaking startups offering patented, scalable, and ready-to-deploy green technologies. Whether you’re seeking investment opportunities, strategic collaboration, or future-proof solutions, these innovators are poised to deliver real impact across industries.
3DC Inc.
3DC is a Japanese startup developing an advanced carbon composite called Graphene MesoSponge® (GMS), known for its unique properties and broad use cases. As the world struggles with energy transition initiatives, we believe that GMS could be a key innovation to address this issue. We now have three businesses: 1) selling GMS as conductive additives for batteries, 2) selling GMS as anode active materials, and 3) developing a data analytics platform for electrode manufacturing.
Floatmeal Co., Ltd.
Floatmeal Co., Ltd. is a deep tech startup originating from Hokkaido University, pioneering sustainable food innovation with Wolffia—an ultra-nutritious, non-allergenic micro plant. Founded in 2023 and based in Sapporo with a research base in Abira, Japan, Floatmeal aims to tackle food security and climate change by developing next-generation protein ingredients. Through proprietary microbial technology, the company enables affordable, high-quality duckweed production by enhancing productivity, nutritional density, and sustainability. These innovations—rooted in deep academic research—have already attracted interest from food manufacturers seeking reliable, protein-rich ingredients. By integrating microbiome science with advanced cultivation, Floatmeal is transforming duckweed into a commercially viable, scalable solution for global food challenges, bridging cutting-edge science with real-world impact to reshape the future of sustainable nutrition.
Blue Planet Sensing Ltd.
The digital solutions that BPS plans to expand overseas are mainly intended to help solve serious social issues in the agricultural sector in Southeast Asia. Major plantation crops suffer severe damage from pests and diseases, and early detection and removal of infected trees are essential to minimize damage. To address these issues, BPS is conducting research and implementation of early detection and wide-area monitoring of plant diseases using high-precision remote sensing technology combined with ground-based spectral measurements (detailed color information). Utilizing small-sized Earth Observation satellite to improve accuracy is future provision.
Morus Inc.
Morus Inc. focuses on the research, production, and sales of bio-based materials derived from silkworms, leveraging Japan's strengths in silkworm research and nutrition. The company’s main business activities include selling raw materials for food and healthcare applications, as well as developing functional foods that utilize these raw materials. Since its early stages, Morus Inc. has been expanding globally, with a particular emphasis on the Singapore market. The company conducts a comprehensive process that encompasses upstream raw material research and mass production, as well as downstream product development and sales, while holding intellectual property (IP) across each segment of the value chain.
Motion Inc.
Motion Inc. offers solutions designed to automate and optimize a wide range of business challenges, leveraging advanced combinatorial optimization technologies as our foundational core. For EV fleets, we offer the charging reservation, dispatch, and optimization system “EVOT/Optiev”, which alleviates driver's range anxiety while also minimizing costs associated with depot charging. Additionally, “Optamo”, which automatically organizes work shifts and tasks, integrates with more than 17 attendance management systems and has been adopted by many companies. Furthermore, “OptFlow”, which enables the planning of production, inspection, and maintenance schedules in as little as a few hours, has an extensive track record at large-scale sites such as “West Japan Railway Company” and “Kyushu Railway Company”. By leveraging optimization technologies, we eliminate waste, variability, and overburden, and strongly support companies in improving their productivity.
